There are many exciting things to do on the Carnival Panorama, such as spending time at Sky Zone, enjoying the thrilling water slides, or taking a ride on Sky Ride, an elevated pedal-powered bike ride while at sea! There is never a dull moment while sailing on the Carnival Panorama. Whether you have cruised before or are taking your first cruise, you will enjoy spending time on the Carnival Panorama.
Carnival Panorama, a Carnival Vista Class Ship
The Carnival Panorama is one of Carnival’s Vista Class ships, along with the Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon. The Vista Class ships are larger ships in Carnival’s fleet with a gross tonnage of 133,500. Due to their larger size, they offer a wider range of experiences on board their ships. They have enhanced entertainment and increased dining options.
The Carnival Panorama is a great choice if you are seeking a relaxing vacation, a fun-filled family getaway, or a wonderful trip with friends. There are many things to do on Carnival’s Vista Class Ships. And the Carnival Panorama is a perfect place to start.

Carnival Panorama’s Home Cruise Port at Long Beach
The Carnival Panorama usually sails from its home port, the Long Beach Cruise Terminal, also known as the Carnival Cruise Terminal in Long Beach, California. The Long Beach Cruise Port is sometimes referred to as the Los Angeles Cruise Port; however, it is actually located in the city of Long Beach. This cruise terminal, owned by Carnival, serves only Carnival cruise ships. This can be confusing, as there are two cruise ports in the area and not far from each other.
The second cruise port in this area is known as the Los Angeles Cruise Port, and is also referred to as the Princess Cruise Terminal in San Pedro. The second cruise port, used by other cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, NCL, and Princess, is actually located in the city of San Pedro. Both cruise terminals are approximately seven miles from each other. It is a good idea to confirm the cruise terminal you will be sailing out of, as you could inadvertently arrive at the wrong terminal. A good rule of thumb is to remember that the Long Beach Cruise Terminal is generally used by Carnival cruise ships.

Parking at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal
The Long Beach Cruise Terminal is the home port to three Carnival Ships. Ships that sail or have sailed out of this port include the Carnival Radiance, Carnival Firenze, and Carnival Panorama. The Carnival Legend is slated to make Long Beach its home port in 2027, replacing the Carnival Firenze.
Because three ships are sailing out of the Long Beach cruise Terminal, parking can be a challenge. While there is an on-site parking structure, you might need to use off-site parking if you sail out of Long Beach. Carnival Cruise Lines will notify cruisers if this will be the case for your sail date.
If you are required to park off-site, you will drop off your luggage and passengers at the cruise port, then head to the off-site parking structure about five minutes away. Carnival provides maps and passes that identify you as a Carnival guest for the off-site parking structure.
A benefit of using the off-site parking structure is that the parking fee is less than the on-site parking fee. Our best advice if your sailing is affected is to leave early for the port, as traffic can and will get congested.
Carnival Panorama Port Destinations
The Carnival Panorama makes many port stops in Mexico, including Baja California and the Mexican Riviera. The Panorama goes on a variety of five, six, seven, and eight-day sailings in Mexico, with an occasional three-day sailing.
The Panorama sails to Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and La Paz. Port stops in Ensenada are typically included on shorter cruises, such as the three-, five-, and six-day cruises. The five and six-day cruises also include a port stop in Cabo San Lucas.
The six-day cruises on the Panorama are unique in that Cabo San Lucas is a two-day port stop adventure. Cabo San Lucas is a tender port, so you do need to return to the ship for the night. However, you return to Cabo San Lucas in the morning for another day of exploring this exciting Mexican town.
The seven-day cruise on the Carnival Panorama includes stops in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. The eight-day cruise includes these ports as well, in addition to a stop in La Paz.
Along with several exciting ports to explore in Mexico, the Carnival Panorama has a lot to offer. Here is what you can expect as you set sail on the Carnival Panorama Cruise Ship.
Outdoor Lanai on the Carnival Panorama
One of the best things about the design of the Carnival Panorama is the various outdoor Lanais around the ship. There are several outdoor areas where you can have a seat under an umbrella, relax, and enjoy the ocean view. Right outside the JavaBlue Cafe is the Ocean Plaza. The Ocean Plaza is a great spot to enjoy a morning or afternoon drink.
These outdoor areas are perfect on a sea day or any day of your cruise. We saw many people playing board games, card games, or simply having a great time with friends and family.

Dining Options on the Carnival Panorama
Carnival is known for having a variety of dining options on its cruise ships. The Carnival Panorama, like other Vista class ships, does not disappoint. The Vista Class’s larger size allows Carnival to expand its dining options.
Many dining options are included with your cruise fare. The Lido Marketplace is where you will find the buffet if you want to try a little bit of everything. You can also head over to the Main Dining Room for a three-course meal. Food options are not limited to the buffet or the dining room. There is also Guy’s Burger Joint for a delicious burger, tacos at Blue Iguana, and so much more.
In addition to the many food options included in the price of your cruise, there are several specialty dining options available for an additional cost. You can dine at Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi, and Bonsai Teppanyaki.
The Carnival Panorama offers a variety of casual and upscale dining options. Although some dining options incur an additional cost, we recommend at least trying one during your cruise.
Carnival Panoramas Dining Options Included in the Cost of the Cruise
You may be wondering which dining options are included in the cost of the cruise and whether spending extra on specialty dining is necessary. In this section, we will dive into the included dining options.
Whether you are looking for quick grab-and-go options or a sit-down dining experience, there are several options available at no additional cost.
The Main Dining Room on the Carnival Panorama
When you purchase your cruise, you will be asked whether you want Early, Late, or My Time Dining. The dining time you choose corresponds to when you will have dinner in the Main Dining Room that is assigned to you. Early dining generally starts at 5:30 pm, and late dining starts at 7:45 pm.
If you choose My Time Dining, you will go to the dining room anytime between 5:30 pm and 9:30 pm. Making a reservation for My Time Dining in the app is required. The wait time can vary from a few minutes to about an hour.
The Horizon and Vista Dining Rooms
There are two dining rooms on the Carnival Panorama, the Horizon Dining Room and the Vista Dining Room. During our recent sailing in August of 2025, the Vista Dining Room accommodated passengers who selected Your Time Dining, and the Horizon Dining Room accommodated passengers who selected either Early or Late Dining.

Main Dining Room Reservations
If you have selected Early or Late Dining, you will have a designated time to be at the dining room. You should arrive at the dining room at your designated time.
If you have selected My Time Dining, you will use the Carnival Hub App to check in for a table before going to the dining room. We recommend keeping an eye on the wait time in the App, as it can range from 10 minutes to 70 minutes. When your table is ready, you will receive a notification in the App. You will then have 10 minutes to get to the dining room.
We usually do My Time Dining, and for the most part, the wait time has not been long. There was one day when the wait was over an hour, so we opted to eat in the buffet instead of waiting.
Steakhouse Selections in the Main Dining Room
If you would like to upgrade your dinner in the Main dining room, you can do so from the main menu. The menu features a few Steakhouse Selection options available at an additional cost. The options include Lobster, Filet Mignon, New York Steak, and Surf & Turf, which includes Lobster and Filet Mignon. These selections are available for an additional cost of $23.00. There is also a Sushi option for an additional $18.00.
The Famous Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake
Because of the variety of eating options on the Carnival Panorama, you do not have to eat in the Main Dining Room if you do not want to. However, if you have heard of the famous Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake and would like to try it, it is only available in the Main Dining Room during dinner.
Sea Day Brunch and Port Day Express Breakfast
Additionally, the Main Dining Room serves breakfast on sea days and port days. You are not given a specific dining time for breakfast. If you would like to eat breakfast in the Main Dining Room, all you have to do is check in for a table on the Carnival HUB App. You will be notified when your table is ready.
The breakfast served in the dining room on the Carnival Panorama will vary based on the day. Sea days usually feature brunch service with additional breakfast options, such as the Flaming Tomato Soup. Port days feature a standard breakfast menu with quicker options so you can start enjoying your port day sooner.
On sea days, the Main Dining Room serves brunch from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. On port days, breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.
The Lido Marketplace Buffet
The main buffet on the Carnival Panorama, known as Lido Marketplace Buffet (Deck 10 Mid), offers a variety of food options. The Lido Marketplace is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Lido Marketplace buffet has multiple sections towards the front and the back of the buffet. Each section serves the same items. If you find there are many people in one section, I suggest going to another. You might find that there are fewer people in that area.
During breakfast, there is an omelet bar where you can get a customized omelet or eggs made your way, such as fried eggs. During dinner time, you will find many of the same options that are available in the Main Dining Room, plus a variety more.
There are several drink stations with coffee, hot chocolate, water, iced tea, and juice.

Late Night Snack and the Lido Marketplace
If you get hungry late at night or would like a bite to eat after enjoying the nightlife on your cruise, you can grab a late-night snack at the Lido Marketplace.
Many ships in Carnival’s fleet of ships have a midnight buffet or a late-night snack. On the Celebration, the midnight buffet is at Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse. On the Carnival Panorama and other Carnival ships, such as the Carnival Radiance, the midnight buffet, known as the Late Night Snack, is in the Lido Marketplace.
The Late Night Snack is held from 11:30 pm to 2:30 am on the Panorama and offers a variety of snacks to choose from.
Visit One of Guy Fieri’s Restaurants on the Carnival Panorama
Similar to other ships in Carnival’s fleet, you will find a few popular Guy Fieri eateries on the Carnival Panorama that are included in the cost of your cruise. Two popular choices are Guy’s Burger Joint and Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que.
Guy’s Burger Joint
Guy’s Burger Joint is one of the most popular eateries on Carnival cruises.
If you are in the mood for a delicious, juicy burger and fries, then stopping at Guy’s Burger Joint is a good idea. There are five burgers on the menu to choose from, ranging from a plain burger, the Plain Jane, to a chili burger, the Chilius Maximus. You can also customize your burger to your liking.
The French fries are also delicious. The fries are hand-cut and served with Guy’s Signature Seasoning, making them very tasty.
On the Carnival Panorama, Guy’s Burger Joint is located on deck 10 Mid and is open from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que
Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que is available on embarkation day and sea days. They offer a variety of smoked meats, including brisket, chicken, and Andouille sausage. There are a variety of sides to choose from, such as mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and more.
Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que is located on deck 5 Mid and is open from 12:00 pm until 2:30 pm.
Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que is different from Guy’s Smokehouse and Brewhouse, which is a paid restaurant with an enhanced menu.

Grab a Bite at the BlueIguana Cantina
The BlueIguana Cantina is hands down one of the more popular eateries on Carnival cruise ships. On the Carnival Panorama, the BlueIguana Cantine is located on Deck 10 Mid and serves breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast options at the BlueIguana Cantina
There are several options available during breakfast at the BlueIguana Cantina. During breakfast hours, the options include breakfast burritos, arepas, and huevos rancheros.
You build your own burritos and arepas with a variety of options, including scrambled eggs (regular or Mexican style), ham, sausage, potatoes, lettuce, beans, and more. We have had the breakfast burritos several times, and they are delicious. And since you request it the way you want it, you simply can’t go wrong.
Breakfast is available from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.
Lunch options at the BlueIguana Cantina
The BlueIguana Cantina serves tacos and burritos during lunchtime with a variety of proteins. Burrito options include chicken, beef, and shrimp. Taco options include beef, pork, and fish. You can request a different protein, such as shrimp, for your tacos, as the servers are very accommodating.
Fillings and toppings include beans, cilantro lime rice, tomato, roasted corn, lettuce, sautéed onion, roasted peppers, guacamole, pico de gallo, and so much more.
If you love salsas and would like to add salsa to your lunch, you will find a large variety of salsas at the salsa bar in front of the BlueIguana Cantina. The salsa bar has a variety of salsas, including pico de gallo, salsa verde, salsa roja, roasted salsas, and spicy habanero salsa.
In addition to salsas, you will find more toppings for your tacos or burrito, such as lettuce, onions, cilantro, and lemon. You will also find refreshing watermelon slices in the salsa bar. The BlueIguana Cantina is the only place where I have seen watermelon on Carnival Cruise ships.
Lunch is served from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm on sea days and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm on port days.
Grab a Sandwich at the Carnival Deli
The Carnival Deli is located on Deck 10 Aft towards the back of the Lido Marketplace. It is open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. The Carnival Deli serves a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, including Buffalo Chicken, meatball, turkey and Swiss, and grilled ham and cheese, as well as hot dogs and sides such as fries and coleslaw.
The Carnival Deli also serves a specialty Latin-themed sandwich, the Cuban Mixto, and a veggie burger. There is a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from; you will not go wrong with any of them on the menu.
The Pasta Bella Pasta Bar
The Pasta Bella Pasta Bar is located at the Cucina del Capitano restaurant on deck 11 Aft. At Pasta Bella Pasta Bar, you create your own pasta. You are given a paper with options to choose from, including the type of pasta, sauces like Pomodoro, Alfredo, and Bolognese, proteins such as chicken, shrimp, and sausage, and a variety of vegetables to add to your creation. The chef will create your custom pasta dish, and it will be brought to your table. There are also extras you can add to your lunch, such as Caesar salad and bread.
Pasta Bella Pasta Bar is worth a try. The variety of sauces are delicious, and you create your dish your way. We really enjoyed the pasta bar on the Carnival Panorama and recommend trying it on this ship or other Carnival ships.
Pasta Bella Pasta Bar is open for lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
Mongolian Wok
At Mongolian Wok, you will be given a menu to choose the type of bowl and the protein you would like for lunch. You can choose a stir-fry or a broth bowl. There are several protein options, including chicken, steak, shrimp, or a combination of all three. Another option available is the ginger pineapple pork stir-fry.
Mongolian Wok is located at JiJi’s Asian Kitchen, on deck 11 Aft, and is available from 12:00 pm until 2:30 pm.
Have a Slice of Pizza at Pizzeria del Capitano
If you are craving pizza, you can satisfy your craving at Pizzeria del Capitano. There are five different options to choose from: Margherita, Pepperoni, Quattro Formaggi, Funghi, and Prosciutto. If you would like a different option, two specialty pizzas are available for purchase.
Pizzeria del Capitano is located on deck 10 Aft near the Tides Pool. Pizza is served from 9:00 am to 12:00 am.

Fresh Creations on the Serenity Deck
The Serenity Deck is reserved for people age 21 and over. It is a quiet getaway for those looking for a more peaceful area. If you are spending time on the Serenity deck, you don’t have to go very far for a bite to eat. Fresh Creations offers a variety of chef-made salads to choose from.
If you prefer to customize your salad, you can also do that. There are a variety of toppings to choose from, including chicken, shrimp, veggies, a variety of nuts and cheeses, pita chips, and several dressings to top your salad.
On the Carnival Panorama, Fresh Creations is open from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
Early Morning Continental Breakfast Room Service
If you would like to enjoy a continental breakfast in your stateroom, you can order room service. Continental breakfast options are included in your cruise fare and include cereal, bakery items, yogurt and fruit, and drinks such as apple and orange juice, coffee, and tea.
Tips are always appreciated for room service delivery.
Specialty Cruise Dining Options
There are many specialty dining options available on board the Carnival Panorama. Specialty dining comes at an additional cost. Costs vary from $24.00 per person up to $49.00 per person, depending on the restaurant you choose to dine at. The number of specialty dining options rivals those on Excel Class ships such as the Carnival Celebration. It exceeds options available on smaller ships such as the Carnival Radiance, Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Miracle, and Carnival Magic.
Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse & Brewhouse
Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse and Brewhouse offers enhanced barbecue options, including Prime Rib, St. Louis Ribs, and 18-Hour Beef Brisket. They also offer enhanced sides such as Sweet Potato Bourbon Mash and a variety of desserts.
The Brewhouse is unique because its beer is brewed on-site. There are full-flavored dark beers as well as easy-drinking light beers available.
Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse and Brewhouse is open for lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm and dinner from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm, and is located on deck 5 Mid.

The Seafood Shack
The Seafood Shack has a variety of seafood available for purchase. The price of the food here varies depending on what you order. If you order lobster or crab legs, you will pay the market price, unlike other menu items that have set prices.
The Seafood Shack is located on deck 10 AFT.
Bonsai Sushi
If you are craving sushi, head to Bonsai Sushi. One of the best things about Bonsai Sushi on the Carnival Panorama is that it is a larger restaurant with more tables available for guests. While the sushi selection is not as large as in land-based restaurants, the selection is decent.
Bonsai Sushi is located on deck 5 Mid and is open for lunch and dinner.
Bonsai Teppanyaki
You will find Bonsai Teppanyaki next door to Bonsai Sushi on deck 5 Mid. If you’re looking for a fun dining experience, Bonsai Teppanyaki is the place to go. The chef prepares your meal at the table while entertaining the guests.
There is limited seating, so we highly recommend making reservations early if you would like to dine at Bonsai Teppanyaki.
We reserved Bonsai Teppanyaki for dinner on the Carnival Panorama and had a wonderful time. The food was worth the additional cost, but if you would like to save some money on your cruise, you can book this dining experience for lunch.
You will find Bonsai Teppanyaki on a handful of other Carnival ships, such as the Carnival Celebration and other Excel Class and Vista Class ships.

Ji Ji Asian Kitchen
Ji Ji Asian Kitchen serves dishes that represent several Asian countries. The dishes available include those from Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, several regions in China, Vietnam, and Mongolia.
Ji Ji Asian Kitchen is hands-down my favorite restaurant on the Carnival Panorama. Not only are the entrees delicious, but the appetizers and desserts are too. I highly recommend trying Ji Ji Asian Kitchen during your cruise vacation.
Ji Ji Asian Kitchen is located on deck 11 Aft, and is open for dinner from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse
The Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse is Carnival’s signature steakhouse. The menu at Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse on the Panorama is the same as on the other Carnival ships.
We regularly dine at Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse when we sail with Carnival. We usually make a reservation for the first night of our cruise, which we recommend. If you make your reservation for the first night of your cruise, Carnival has a special offer. You can choose to receive a complimentary bottle of wine with your dinner or a discount on a more expensive bottle.
The wine we received on the Panorama was a Chilean Merlot. It was a great compliment to our dinner. And since we did not finish the bottle, we were able to take it with us to enjoy on our balcony.
The steakhouse is located on deck 5 mid and is open for dinner from 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm.
Cucina del Capitano
Cucina del Capitano is another great specialty dining option. It is Carnival’s Italian restaurant on its fleet of ships. The dinner menu offers many options and is a multi-course dinner. We recommend dining at Cucina del Capitano at least once.
Cucina del Capitano is located on deck 11 Aft and is open for dinner from 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm.
JavaBlue Cafe and Shake Spot
If you are in the mood for a hot drink, such as coffee or tea, then JavaBlue Cafe is the spot for you. JavaBlue Cafe offers a variety of handcrafted espresso drinks and freshly brewed coffee and tea.
If you are craving a milkshake, this is the place to get them, as the Shake Spot is also here. Not only can you order regular coffee, but you can also order spiked coffee, such as an Irish Coffee or a Caribbean Coffee.
If you like puzzles such as crosswords and Sudoku, there are daily puzzles available at the cafe every morning starting at 7:00 am.
JavaBlue Cafe and Shake Spot are located on deck 5 mid.

24-Hour Room Service
Room service on the Carnival Panorama is available 24 hours a day for an additional cost. In the morning, continental breakfast is available, as are paid breakfast items.
Additionally, there is an all-day menu with a variety of options. There is a charge for items ordered from the all-day menu. The all-day menu is available beginning at 10:00 am.
You can call from your stateroom to order room service or use the Carnival Hub App. Ordering through the Carnival Hub App is easy and convenient, since you can place orders from just about anywhere on the ship.
The Hub App guides you through setting your location on the ship so you can receive your order without a problem. You can add your photograph in the app to make the delivery process easier and help the delivery attendant recognize you for your order.
Included Drinks
When it comes to beverages on board the Carnival Panorama, you do not need to purchase drinks if you do not want to. Drinks included in the price of the cruise are water, coffee, lemonade, iced tea, hot tea, and hot chocolate. In addition to these drinks, there are a variety of juices, milk, and chocolate milk available during breakfast hours. You will find these drinks at several drink stations on the ship.
The Drink Packages
Carnival Cruise Line offers several different drink packages to choose from, including the Bottomless Bubbles package, the Cheers! package, the Cheers! Zero Proof package, and two wine packages. These packages cover the cost of most beverages that are not included in your cruise fare.
The Carnival Bottomless Bubbles Package
The Bottomless Bubbles Package on Carnival Cruises includes unlimited juices and soda. While juices are free during breakfast, they are not complimentary after breakfast ends. Juices are included in the bottomless Bubbles package, so you or your kids can have juice with lunch or dinner, or anytime throughout the day.
The cost for the Bottomless Bubbles package is per person, per day. You can pay for the package in your cruise manager account before you sail, or you can purchase the package when you get on the cruise at any of the many bars onboard. In addition to the cost of the package, you will also be charged a gratuity when you buy the package.
The Carnival Cheers! Drink Package
The Cheers! Drink Package covers all of your beverages on the cruise, non-alcoholic and alcoholic. This includes specialty coffees at JavaBlue Cafe, sodas, bottled water, fruit juices, milkshakes, and alcoholic drinks priced at $20.00 or less. However, there is a limit of 15 alcoholic drinks per 24-hour period. The Cheers! Drink Package also includes discounts for cocktails priced above $20.00, champagne, and bottles of wine. A limitation to the Cheers! Drink Package is that it does not include drinks in promoted souvenir glasses.
The cost of the Cheers! Drink Package depends on the length of your cruise and when you purchase the package. There is a discount if you purchase the package before your cruise starts.
If you are wondering if the Carnival Cheers! Drink Package is worth the Price, read our blog for more insight on the cost and requirements of the Carnival Cheers! Drink Package.
The Carnival Cheers! Zero Proof Drink Package
The Carnival Cheers! Zero Proof Drink Package is Carnival’s newest drink package. It includes zero-proof drinks such as non-alcoholic beer and mocktails. The Zero Proof Drink Package also includes water, both still and sparkling, premium coffees, teas, soda, energy drinks, and milk shakes.
Cruise the Vineyard Wine Packages
There are two Cruise the Vineyard Wine packages to choose from: a regular package and a premium package. Both packages offer three or five wine bottle options. The difference between the two packages is the types of wine you can select. The Premium option gives you a larger selection of wine with more premium options. Prices range from $81.00 to $193.00.
Bars on the Carnival Panorama
Carnival Panorama has several bars on board where you can order both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and have a great time. While these are the main bars, there are others on board where you can purchase drinks. Many venues and restaurants have their own bars where you can order both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The Alchemy Bar
The Alchemy Bar is one of Carnival’s popular bars and is a great place to try new and creative drinks. According to legend, a Martini tasting event takes place at the Alchemy Bar on embarkation day or soon after. We always seem to miss this event and have not been able to attend. If you have attended this event, please let us know in the comments below. We’d love to hear about it!
The Alchemy Bar is located on deck 5 Mid.
The Havana Bar
The Havana Bar offers a variety of Cuban-inspired drinks, including Mojitos and Cuba Libres. Staterooms Available on the Carnival Panorama
As with other cruise ships, there is a wide variety of staterooms.. There are different room types to choose from: interior, ocean-view, balcony, and suites. Some rooms accommodate only 2 people, while others accommodate 5. If you need two rooms for your group, connecting rooms are available. There are so many different options that choosing a room can be confusing. Here is some information on the room types available on the Carnival Panorama.
Interior Cabin Staterooms
Interior staterooms are typically lower cost than other room types. Depending on the room, you can have 2 to 5 people in one room. Interior rooms tend to be smaller than other rooms and usually do not have a window. Since there is no window, the room can be very dark at night, so you may need to set an alarm if you want to wake up by a certain time.
Ocean View Staterooms
Ocean-view staterooms have windows and can accommodate 2 to 5 people, depending on the room layout. These rooms are typically larger than the interior staterooms. In addition to a window, most ocean-view rooms have a couch for extra seating. You will also have more room to spread out than in an interior room.
Balcony Staterooms
Balcony rooms are roomier than ocean-view rooms, and some can sleep up to 5 guests. Typically, you will have two chairs and a small side table on the balcony. There are several types of balcony staterooms available on the Carnival Panorama. You can get a cove balcony room, which is a room on a lower level of the ship, placing you closer to the water. Regular balcony rooms, which are located on higher decks, and extended balcony rooms, which tend to be in the back of the ship and have a larger balcony area.

Suite Staterooms
Suites are the largest room types, generally have a roomy balcony, and can sleep up to 5 guests. Suites normally offer additional perks. Booking a suite gives you priority check-in, as well as priority embarkation and debarkation. Additionally, you have priority access to dinner reservations and dining room time choices.
Exclusive Stateroom Types on the Carnival Panorama
You have the option of booking three different exclusive types of staterooms on the Carnival Panorama: Havana, Cloud 9 Spa, and Family Harbor staterooms. What makes these locations special is the perks associated with each type of stateroom. You can find interior, ocean-view, and suites for all three types. Cloud 9 Spa staterooms have balcony options, and Havana has balcony as well as a cabana option to choose from.
Havana Staterooms
Havana staterooms have specific requirements. To book a Havana Stateroom, everyone in your party must be 12 years of age or older. The Havana rooms are located towards the back of the ship on several decks and are not too far from the Havana Bar located on Deck 8. There is an exclusive entrance to the Havana deck from the Havana Bar.
Stateroom options include interior, balcony, and cabana rooms. Cabana rooms are located on the same deck as the Havana pool.
The Havana Experience Exclusive Area
A huge perk of booking a Havana stateroom is the Havana Experience area. This area is exclusive to guests staying in a Havana room.
This exclusive area, available on Vista Class ships, features a swimming pool, two hot tubs, and a nice deck with ample loungers and seating. There is also a bar, an outdoor section of the Havana Bar for the exclusive use of Havana guests.
If you are looking for a quiet getaway, booking a Havana stateroom is a good option. We found that the Havana deck was never crowded and was a great place to unwind and enjoy the pool.
Cloud 9 Spa Staterooms
Cloud 9 Spa staterooms have perks associated with the Cloud 9 Spa. The Cloud 9 Spa rooms come with bathrobes, slippers, and Elemis toiletries. The main perks you will enjoy when booking a Cloud 9 Spa stateroom are free fitness classes and unlimited access to the Cloud 9 Spa thermal suites. You will also receive priority for spa reservations and discounts on services.
Family Harbor Staterooms
Family Harbor is exclusive to families. One of the perks of the Family Harbor rooms is access to the Family Harbor Lounge, which is an area with games and movies to entertain kids. Snacks are available throughout the day, and breakfast is served in the Family Harbor Lounge in the morning.
An additional perk is a free night of Night Owls for your kids, so you can have a night out and enjoy the nightlife on the ship.
