You will enjoy your tasting in their elegant tasting room as their servers are very friendly and knowledgeable about Avensole wines.
There are several different tastings to choose from that offer various types of wines. Tastings range from the standard menu to winemaker selections and premier red wines. They also offer seated tastings in their outdoor patio during the weekend.

Wilson Creek Winery has a welcoming atmosphere and is known for its famous Almond Champagne, which we absolutely love!
Wilson Creek has several tasting rooms. The main tasting room is open to everyone on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Library tasting room, which requires reservations, offers a sit-down tasting experience. The Upper Room does not require reservations but is reserved for Wine Club Members only.
Besides their famous Almond Champagne, Wilson Creek produces various wines such as Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, Meritage, Mourvedre, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, and the popular White Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grounds at Wilson Creek are large and beautiful. There is a beautiful open area, the Lower Garden, where you can picnic while sipping your favorite Wilson Creek wine. No outside food is allowed. Luckily, Wilson Creek offers delicious food in their two onsite restaurants, the Courtyard Bar and Grill, which has a limited menu and small bites, and the Creekside Grill Restaurant, a full restaurant with outdoor seating. No reservations are required. Because of the diverse options and the outdoor area, Wilson Creek is one of the best wineries in Temecula for lunch.

At Leoness Cellars, you can enjoy Cabernet Sauvignon, award-winning Syrah, Merlot, Meritage, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc.
Leoness Cellars also has one of the most beautiful tasting patios in the area. You can enjoy stunning views of the vineyard while tasting their delicious wines. If you’d like to tour the winery, Leoness offers a variety of tours, such as the Perfect Wine Experience, where you will learn about the winery and the production of its wines. There is also the Vineyard Tour and Taste, which includes a winery tour and an artisan cheese pairing. Leoness has a variety of other tours to choose from that will help you create the perfect winery experience.
In addition to its beautiful grounds and delicious wines, Leoness has a wonderful restaurant. Reservations are recommended.

There is a beautiful outdoor tasting area that overlooks the vineyards. This winery has a great ambiance and is a wonderful place to visit on your weekend getaway in Temecula. Tasting is available at the winery, which also offers wine tours.
Callaway also has a restaurant on site, Meritage Restaurant. The restaurant is open seven days a week. Reservations are recommended.

It is one of our favorite wineries to visit because of its relaxed atmosphere.
Robert Renzoni Vineyards produces red wines such as Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Barbera, and Tempranillo. Their white wines include Vermentino, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Moscato. They also have Prosecco and other sparkling wines.
They have a restaurant on site, Mama Rosa’s Trattoria, that serves a variety of delicious Italian-inspired selections to pair with your wine.

South Coast Winery produces wines such as Merlot, Meritage, and Tempranillo. South Coast has a few specialty red wines produced from grapes from the Wild Horse vineyards in the Palomar Mountains in California. Their white wines include Riesling, Muscat Canneli, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon Blanc. They also have several sparkling wines available.

Miramonte Winery offers a laid-back, vibrant environment perfect for a casual wine-tasting experience. The winery does get busier during the weekend as they offer live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
Miramonte Winery has one of the best views in Temecula. Their outside patio is a great place to sip wine and enjoy a delicious dish from their restaurant, The Flower Hill Bistro. Their outdoor patio is perfect for watching the beautiful sunset over the vineyards.
Miramonte produces various wines like Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, and Pinot Gris. One of their most popular wines is Sangria, which they offer in both red and white varieties. My favorite is the red Sangria, which pairs perfectly with the charcuterie board at the Flower Hill Bistro.

Europa Village Wineries & Resort
Europa Village Wineries & Resort offers Old World charm in Temecula. This incredible and unique winery in Temecula features a European-style village with three wineries, each inspired by France, Spain, and Italy, offering an Old World charm experience. You can book a wine tasting at each of the three wineries for a full tour of Europe without leaving Temecula – well, almost. Europa is very popular on Instagram. You will frequently see reels portraying Europa Village as a hidden gem in Temecula that transports you to Europe.
Europa Village has two restaurants on site. Bolero Restaurant offers Spanish cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their menu includes a variety of Spanish selections, such as Paella and Salchicha Española. Mercato Di Vienza is a casual dining experience similar to an Italian deli. You can order wood-fired pizzas and Italian specialties such as Lasagna, meatball sandwiches, and gelato. There are also a variety of specialty items for sale, such as olive oil.
Europe Village also has accommodations available for a great weekend getaway in Temecula. You can stay at the Spanish Casitas, which has Spanish-style rooms, or the Inn, which is a more secluded location with incredible views of the vineyards.
Europa Village produces a large variety of wines, including Sangiovese, Barbera, Tempranillo, Montepulciano, Chardonnay, Vermentino, and Arneis. They also have a variety of sparkling wines. They have several wines rated 90 + by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. This is an incredible winery and is easily one of the best wineries to visit in Temecula.

Foot Path Winery
Foot Path Winery is one of the most unique and best wineries to visit in the Temecula Valley. They are the only certified users of organic grapes. They also harvest their grapes by hand. Footpath Winery specializes in red wines that are aged in Oak. They have a smaller selection of wines, but they are superb. Foot Path produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Barbera, Syrah, and Merlot. They also produce Late Harvest wines.
The Winery also grows organic fruit and honey, which is available for purchase. Foot Path Winery is an off-the-beaten-path winery in Temecula that is worth visiting.

Wiens Cellars
Wiens Cellars is a hidden gem in Temecula. The first time I visited Wiens, their tasting room was located in a small building, and their red wines were delicious. Nowadays, their tasting room is larger, and their red wines continue to be delicious.
Wiens Cellars produces a variety of wines, but they are known for their red wines. You will find varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and a few red blends. Their white wines include Pinot Grigio, Rose of Sangiovese, Rose of Malbec, Vermentino, and Chardonnay.
Wiens Cellars has wine tours that include an enhanced tasting experience and a tour of the winery. Reservations are required if you are interested in a tour. There is a great outdoor patio where you can enjoy your glass of wine in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Reservations are not required for regular tastings, and walk-ins are welcome.

Ponte Winery
Ponte Winery is hands down one of my favorite wineries in Temecula. I’ve been visiting Ponte Winery for many years and it is one of the best wineries to visit in Temecula. The hosts at Ponte are always friendly and very knowledgeable about wine. The grounds have beautiful views of the vineyards.
Ponte produces a variety of red and white wines. The wines at Ponte are delicious. Their red wines include Barbera, Montepulciano, Super T (Super Tuscan), Cabernet Franc, Doppietta, and Sangiovese. White wines include Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Vermentino. Their sweet wines include Late Harvest, Vernaccia Nera, and the popular Beverino.
Ponte Winery has a restaurant on site, The Restaurant at Ponte, that offers farm-to-table dining. Ponte is a busy winery, including their restaurant. I highly suggest making a reservation if you would like to eat at their restaurant.
Ponte Winery also has a hotel on their property, Ponte Vineyard Inn. The hotel has three additional restaurants: the Bouquet Restaurant, The Cellar, and the Poolside Bar and Cafe.

Bottaia Winery
Bottaia Winery is a sister winery to Ponte Winery. If you are looking for an enhanced wine tasting experience, then Bottaia Winery is the winery to visit. While walk-ins are welcome, they are on a first-come, first-serve basis. I highly recommend making a reservation for the day that you would like to visit. Tables are limited to eight guests maximum.
There are a few different tasting experiences, including Barrel Room Tasting, Charcuterie and wine pairing, and wine blending. You can also visit The Deck, where you can enjoy a glass of wine and small bites.
During the warmer season, you can reserve the Pool Experience. This experience is great for the whole family as there is also a splash pad available for children. You can reserve loungers, a cabana, or a private cabine.
Bottaia Winery is a unique winery in Temecula that offers unique experiences for its visitors. If you are looking for an upscale winery experience, Bottaia Winery is the best winery to visit in Temecula.
