Are you fascinated with the paranormal? Do you like watching ghost-hunting shows? If so, you should consider going on a ghost tour. A ghost tour is a fun, exciting, and spooky way to explore the paranormal and learn a bit of history. Recently, we were invited to attend a Ghost Tour with US Ghost Adventures. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that US Ghost Tours offers tours in many cities with expert guides who tell chilling tales of the most haunted locations and spooky stories of untimely deaths. The choices were almost endless. We were headed back to Palm Springs for a getaway and chose to explore a few haunted places in this beautiful California desert oasis with US Ghost Adventures.

Phantoms of Palm Springs Ghost Tour By US Ghost Adventures

Since we were headed to Palm Springs for a few days, we chose to take the Penance and Pergatory tour, which was sponsored by US Ghost Adventures. We enjoy watching shows about paranormal experiences and ghost hunting. We each have had moments when we felt paranormal activity around us, such as the feeling of not being alone in a room or hearing strange noises. Of course, going on a ghost tour was right up our alley. This was our first ghost tour, and we were really excited to experience the local lore and supernatural secrets of Palm Springs.

The Phantoms of Palm Springs Ghost Tour: Penance and Purgatory with US Ghost Adventures was an amazingly fun experience. Not only did we learn about paranormal activity in town, but we also learned about the city’s interesting history and a few local legends with tragic endings.

The History of Palm Springs and Its Ghostly Connections

What we enjoyed most about the Palm Springs Ghost Tour was hearing about the colorful haunted history behind several locations in the Downtown area. Some of the areas were marred by tragic accidents resulting in restless spirits. It is these historical and tragic events that bring about paranormal occurrences. During the tour, we explored various locations in the Downtown Palm Springs area. We also learned about areas beyond Palm Springs, such as Joshua Tree and Tahquitz Peak.

Our US Ghost Adventures Tour Host

When describing and telling the history of the tragic events, our US Ghost Adventures tour guide did his due diligence and was absolutely incredible. Several tour guides are available for the ghost tours. Our tour guide during our ghost tour in Palm Springs was Lorenzo. He was absolutely awesome and completely made our night. Lorenzo was dressed in a suit, with makeup that made him look ghoulish. He was also carrying a candelabra.

Our tour guide, Lorenzo, shared the stories with historical accuracy and people’s firsthand accounts. He also had a great sense of humor and delivered the haunting stories of the areas we visited with perfect timing.

We learned a bit of history and the events that led to the paranormal activity in each location. We think that having the background information of each location made the experience even better. We can’t thank Lorenzo enough for making this a great experience for us!

Enhancing Our US Ghost Tour Experience

During our tour, we also used an EMF Activity Detector. An EMF detector helps to detect changes in electromagnetic fields. When there are changes or disturbances in electromagnetic fields, an EMF reader picks up on those changes. It is the disturbance of electromagnetic fields that ghost hunters believe is evidence of paranormal activity.

Using the EMF detector really added to our experience. It was uncanny that at each ghostly location, the EMF detector showed paranormal activity as the lights changed from green to yellow to red. In areas that had not been marred by tragic events, the EMF detector light was green, indicating no paranormal activity.

It was interesting to see the lights change, and I have to admit that it is a bit creepy to see the lights changing, especially after learning about the history of a particular location. We highly recommend adding this enhancement to your tour.

Some of the events that you will learn about are tragic, such as murders and horrible accidents. So having a bit of tolerance for tragic tales is a good idea.

Phantoms of Palm Springs Tour Stops with US Ghost Adventures

Our tour began at the Triada Palm Springs hotel. This is where we met Lorenzo and began the tour. As it turns out, the Triada has paranormal activity, which we witnessed. While we don’t want to give away all of the details of the tour, some of the sites we visited and/or learned about included the Palm Canyon Theatre, the Walk of the Stars in Palm Springs, the Agua Caliente Cultural Center, the Palm Springs Art Museum, the Triangle of Death, Joshua Tree, and Tahquitz Peak.

Each location is full of history and has a tragic event or a few events that are the cause of the current paranormal activity found there.
